Sequins and feathers and disapproving fathers, oh my!
That's been the name of the game for Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson during her run on Dancing With the Stars, as her father, Willie Robertson, has had final say on each and every costume she's worn on the ABC hit.
Still, the 17-year-old has managed to pull together some memorable looks. Alas, her dress code has also led to some rather snoozy outings as well!
Because there's so much buzz surrounding Sadie's DWTS wardrobe, we've decide to rank her ensembles from worst to best. Can you guess what our pick for No. 1 is?
Honestly, this is our least favorite of Sadie's looks by far. Not the best color, not the best cut and we are so not digging those wrist...things.
Hey, we get that the competition didn't technically begin yet, but come on, this is a dress you wear to Homecoming, not on one of the biggest reality shows on TV!
Cute, but a little thrown-together, just like this round of the competition, no?
For what's arguably the competition's sexiest dance, the reality TV star donned her most demure look yet. It's very pretty...and a little plain.
Cute? Yes. Memorable? Not really.
For her ballroom debut, Sadie kept it simple and safe in this colorful, age-appropriate and ultimately forgettable frock. Next!
Sadie's denim cut-offs, checkered shirt and cowboy foots felt just a little too on the nose, and safe, for a show as fun as DWTS. She could just as easily be heading into the mall in this get-up!
What girl doesn't dream of twirling in a fringe dress?! "I love all the fringe!" Sadie told us of this look. "It's going to be so much fun to dance in."
While very pretty and super-flattering, it kind of seems like a lesser version of her outstanding dress for her foxtrot. Which we'll get to in a minute.
Sadie and Mark definitely got into the Halloween spirit for this zombie-filled dance, our favorite routine of theirs yet. Sadie's outfit, made up of a demure skirt and buttoned up gingham blouse (and teddy bear!), helped her to play the part of innocent victim (and zombie dinner!) perfectly.
Inspired by Adam and Eve, Sadie's wild and barefoot look was perfect for the couple's more intimate, less show-y routine.
For their adorable Up-inspired dance, Sadie went for a vintage look that was sophisticated and sweet.
Confession: we totally want to steal this look for Halloween. Most. Adorable. Court. Jester. Ever. And guess what? Sadie's father didn't approve this dress: Mark Ballas did! "We wanted to create, for each character, something memorable from the circus," he told E! News. "She was like a female version of the jester and I think this is really appropriate and cute."
We don't think it's a coincidence that Sadie landed a perfect score in this seriously perfect gown. Seriously, look at that stunner!
Most. Inventive. Dance. Ever. Seriously, how delightful was Sadie and Mark's freestyle routine, inspired by Mario Kart? And Sadie made the perfect Princess Peach, inspiring jealousy in teen girls obsessed with Halloween everywhere.
How perfect was Sadie's feathery frock, which was inspired by Duck Dynasty? Even better? The fact that her father, Willie, and her uncles, Si, Jase, and Jep, got in on the fun. And so did Mark, who donned a fake beard that would definitely make the Quack Pack proud.
And her father liked the dress as much as we did! "Anything with feathers is cool and stones and rocks," Willie said. "Yeah, I mean it's real earthy. I like it!"
