Miley Cyrus Wants to Grow Right Along With You
Attention, all Hannah Montana fans. Miley Cyrus is not abandoning you.
As the tween world anxiously awaits the Tuesday arrival of her new album, the singer is making it clear why her new collection is completely free of her alter ego.
Troyer Settles Sex Tape Suit
Maybe all Verne Troyer ever wanted was a little more say in the matter.
The diminutive actor has settled the $20 million lawsuit that he filed last month against TMZ.com, an adult film distributor and celebrity porn broker Kevin Blatt after a clip of a sex tape he made with a former girlfriend was posted on the celebrity-gossip site.
Troyer attorney Edwin McPherson said Friday that his client never plans on selling the tape, but Blatt and online renter SugarDVD signed agreements requiring the Love Guru sidekick's permission before they are ever allowed to further promote or profit from the video.
Resident View Drama Queen Elisabeth Hasselbeck Chokes Up Over N-Word
Today in Viewland, what started out as a discussion over the hypocrisy of Rev. Jesse Jackson using the N-word on Fox News in an off-air comment quickly turned into a heated discussion between Elisabeth Hasselbeck and herself.
Elisabeth doesn’t believe anybody, regardless of race, should ever use the N-word, because she’s seen the movie Crash. Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi both try to explain their perspectives, but they can't get a word in because Elisabeth has worked herself up so much, she's crying by the end.
And that, dear readers, is why Crash beat out Brokeback Mountain for the Best Picture Oscar.
Al Reynolds Makes Star Turn on YouTube
First thing's first: Al Reynolds is not gay. He does, however, take pride in an appearance that's "cleaner than the board of health."
Second thing's second: He's also still in love with Star Jones.
In a series of three You Tube videos designed to set the record—and his sexuality—straight, Reynolds speaks out for the first time since his divorce from the former View cohost was announced in April, saying the demise of his marriage makes him "very sad" and that his relationship with Jones is currently loitering at "cordial."
"There are days when i'm like, 'Wow.' I still wear my ring. It hasn't settled in yet. I still love her," he says.
Venezuela Stays Standing, Wins Miss Universe
It takes more than double-sided tape and speeches about world peace to be crowned Miss Universe. Like, say, the ability to smile and stand at the same time.
Better luck next year, Miss USA.
Just as last year's American representative before her, Texas-born Miss USA Crystle Stewart failed to remain aloft during her grueling evening wear sashay across the stage in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Sunday—paving the way for 22-year-old Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza, to snatch the crown.
iPhone 3G: "It" Gear for Hollywood Phonies
I think we can all agree that talking on the phone isn't expensive enough these days. Thankfully, to help part us from our hard-earned, there's the new iPhone 3G, highlighted by The Soup's Joel McHale above.
But in the false advertising realm, we'd like to note that the name 3G is a little misleading: The phone doesn't actually cost 3 g's. Not until the next upgrade anyway.
Tobey Maguire: Blinded by the Light
It's times like these when Tobey Maguire probably wishes he could simply cast a web over the paparazzi.
And while we normally don't condone screaming obscenities in public, it's kind of hard to completely blame the guy for doing so.
So check out the video and give us your thoughts in the comments below.
Going Up? Britney Hits the Elevator for Madonna Concert Video
Here's the scoop, bitch.
Cameras started to roll today on the video that Britney Spears is making for Madonna's upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour, which, sources tell E! News, will be the opening video for each show.
The "Are you ready to rumble?!" video, if you will.
The shoot took place today at the Lot in West Hollywood, the former site of Warner Hollywood, United Artists and the Samuel Goldwyn Studios.
An on-set source said that Britney arrived at around 9 a.m. and was holed up in her dressing room by 9:30. The "Toxic" singer didn't start shooting her scenes until noon and was still on the set a few hours later.
According to our insiders, the planned "short movie" will take place inside an elevator, where seven cameras will be strategically placed to capture the magic. The scene-by-scene breakdown goes like this:
A Hit With Heidi Montag?
Music producer Rodney Jerkins likes Heidi Montag's chances as a singer, if she gets the right people around her. Needless to say, Rodney the hitmaker thinks he's one of the right people in this exclusive video interview with E! News correspondent Jason Kennedy. Jerkins says "an artist is like a shoe salesman." But is Heidi hawking Hush Puppies at Payless or peddling Christian Louboutins in Beverly Hills? Only time will tell.
And for all the telling details, watch Jerkins' take on working with Britney and much more of this exclusive report on E! News tonight.
Trackmaster Jerkins: Britney Still Brings It
After a brief music-biz timeout, Britney Spears is barging back with a vengeance, says record producer Rodney Jerkins in this exclusive video interview with E! News reporter Jason Kennedy. Touting the pop star's professionalism and savvy, Jerkins says Brit can still cut a killer track in a fraction of the time it takes other artists.
And she's no studio diva either, never demanding anything more than Starbucks or Red Bull. For more of this exclusive video, catch E! News Sunday evening.
Charlize and Stuart: No One Is More in Love
Could Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend be any more sickeningly in love?
The blond beauty says the ring he gave her isn't an engagement number, but more of an ongoing love note.
"It was a Victorian thing," Theron says in the new issue of Elle UK. "You put in a lock of hair or a little note to remind you of your loved one...Every time I go away he puts in a little love note."
What else has Townsend given the Oscar winner?
