I know I seem to be the only one bitching (I'm used to it) about what a skank David Duchovny's been in this whole true-life-sexual-addiction-confessions thing, but it's actually getting worse here, folks, so you all might want to start paying attention, too.
What we have in D2 is a guy who wants it both ways, I know, I know, nothing new in T-town, but even I have my limits for this kind of BS.
Also, it really peeves me when people use 12-step programs for their own press-release agendas, à la Lindsay Lohan speaking openly to reporters about meetings she was attending at one time—anonymous meetings, mind you. But who cares about such traditions at gatherings where other people are trying to save their lives when it's your popularity in the rags you want to salvage? Obvs not folks like Linds and David.
Sex addiction is a serious prob, and many sex addicts suffer horrifically, some even die from it, ultimately. But not only—according to my D.D. spies—did the Californication star enter sex rehab only as a last resort before the media found out his slutty ways, he had, and has, no real intention of reforming henceforth, as was reinforced by the announcement that he and Téa Leoni have, in actuality, been separated for some time now.
So much for complete, honest declarations to the public—on the very day Madonna's bustup was revealed. Sly cover, you orgasm-addicted schmuck. What else are you not telling us when you pretend to be telling us all?
