Sarah Jessica Parker's Celebrity Mole
Here's a shocking celebrity split.
E! News can confirm that Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has parted ways with her signature mole.
“Yes, she’s had it removed,” said a source close to the actress today.
While reasons for the removal are unclear, we’re told the procedure was “no big deal.”
In photos taken last night of the actress making a public service announcement with Sheryl Crow at Yankee Stadium for the MLB All-Star game, Parker's glowing face had a glaring absence: Her beauty mark had disappeared.
Looks like Carrie Bradshaw will be traveling a bit lighter should that SATC sequel ever come around.
Miley Cyrus Wants Sex
This is just wrong on so many levels.
It seems Miley Cyrus is such a fan of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda that the tween sensation tells the new issue of TV Guide: "I'd love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City."
And call it what?! Virginity and the Elementary School? No Sex With the Cyrus?
Yuck, even that sounds dirty…
Burning Q's: Hubbard Buddies & Premiere Snacks
Does an association with Scientology weaken an actor's star power? Aren't there elements of Scientology in the new school that Will Smith is helping build? Hasn't he denied involvement with Scientology?
—Emerald Arts, Australia
In order of your asking: (1) No, unless he/she starts yapping about it and jumping on couches, in which case, yes. (2) Yes. Per Fox News, the New Village Academy in Calabasas, Calif., which is getting $1 million from Will Smith, plans to implement several teaching techniques first developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. (3) Right. Smith's rep has said the actor is not a Scientologist. But then again, Smith has said he has studied elements of it through Tom Cruise.
Now go ahead and digest all that while I move on to more of your Burning Q's!

Jennifer Hudson: Call Me, Barack!
Attention, Barack Obama!
Jennifer Hudson would love to hear from you. The Oscar-winning actress and singer from Chicago (yes, she still lives there) says she's ready to do what she can to get her senator elected president.
"I sang for Obama after I did Idol," Hudson says. "I'm so proud and excited for him. I haven't gotten a call from them yet, but he does have my support."
Sex Sells...and Sells and Sells
On the Manolo Blahnik heels of the Sex and the City movie's stellar opening weekend comes the July issue of Marie Claire featuring four different covers—with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon each getting their very own.
Such a gesture by the magazine is indeed a testament to both the groundbreaking nature and cultural impact of the show, and now, the film.
"These were women who were objectifying men. And it was sort of jarring," says SATC creator Darren Star.
Kim Cattrall Toons Up for Canada
Kim Cattrall has landed on the Dee-list.
The Sex and the City star has joined the voice cast for Producing Parker, a prime-time animated sitcom set to air on the E! Canada network.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cattrall will play Dee, the self-absorbed host of the daytime show-within-the-show The Dee Show, which satirically sells viewers on the importance of having it all.
E! Canada (like E! Online, a division of E! Entertainment) has placed a 13-episode order for the series, which will begin running in spring 2009.
SATC Movie Secrets Revealed
Sure, the ladies of Sex and the City live a lavish lifestyle we can only dream about (to the tune of $55.7 million last weekend).
But before you decide your lifelong goal is to live in a penthouse apartment on Fifth Avenue à la Carrie and Big, note that in reality even these two posh-living partners probably wouldn't be able to afford such a luxurious residence.
Seeing isn't exactly believing, as Us Weekly points out in its latest issue:
Who's That Naked Guy in Sex and the City?
Move over, Chris Noth! There’s a new Mr. Big in town.
Meet Gilles Marini, who plays Samantha Jones’ neighbor Dante in Sex and the City. He's the one causing the collective gasp in movie theaters everywhere.
Why?
Well, not only does he appear naked and having sex with one or more women for most of his screen time, but there’s a jaw-dropping side shot of his rather impressive manhood when Samantha catches Dante taking an outdoor shower.
Kristin Davis in Style Down South
For those who consider themselves more of a Charlotte than a Carrie, here's the line for you.
Joining Bitten designer Sarah Jessica Parker in the fashion biz, Kristin Davis has announced plans for a signature clothing line that will launch this fall in a partnership with the North Carolina-based department store chain Belk Inc.
SJP's Fashion Faux Pas
That Nina Ricci gown Sarah Jessica Parker wore to the NYC Sex and the City premiere was red carpet retread!
The frock Parker wore on the most important night of her fashion life had already been trotted out by Lauren Santo Domingo at the Met ball!
And designer Olivier Theyskens, who assured SJP the dress was an original, was Lauren’s date to the ball!
OMG!
If you’re not outraged, you either have (1) no fashion sense or (2) a penis.
HBO: (Samantha) Jonesing for More Sex
Kim Cattrall is getting back into bed with HBO.
Hot off her debut as a box-office champ, the Sexy lady is heading back to the small screen with a titillating new comedy set in New York.
There's something to be said for a winning formula after all.
Cattrall is set to star in and executive produce Sensitive Skin for the premium cable net, an adaptation of the same-named British series revolving around a wife and mother of a certain age who rediscovers her sexuality and begins to challenge her cookie-cutter life.
Sex Star Already Talking Sequel—Kinda
Now that Sex and the City has finally hit the big screen—and we know who is or isn't living happily ever after—does that mean we've seen the last of our favorite fabulous foursome?
Don't bet on it!
"You never know," Kristin Davis (aka Charlotte) told E! News at a charity screening of the movie in Los Angeles Thursday. "If Michael [Patrick King] writes something else for me, I'll want to be a part of it."
Not that there's any talk of a sequel yet, said Kristin. "We ladies are always the first to hear if that's what they're thinking."
That may have changed this morning. Find out why...
