Dancing With the Stars' Mya: What She'd Do With the Disco Ball Trophy

More from Marc Malkin

What does one do after spending about 14 weeks working on Dancing With the Stars?

Get some much needed rest.

"I definitely need a break to allow my ankle to heal properly for about a couple of weeks," Mya told me earlier today during a break from rehearsing tonight's finale.

Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin proved last night why they are this season's best dancers. They nabbed two perfect scores for their paso doble and the megamix, and a 27 for their Hairspray freestyle.

And Mya is also fun to talk to—no matter how tired she may be. I'm going to miss waking up to her voice every Tuesday morning. Read on for the last of our exclusive weekly chats.

End of a Weird Era: Jon & Kate Plus 8 Signs Off

Kate Gosselin never wanted it to be this way. But since it is this way...

Having to shut down its cash cow thanks to Jon Gosselin's gripes, TLC made sure that its litigious former star ended up looking like the greater of two evils on Monday's series finale of Jon & Kate Plus 8.

"They don't know about girlfriends at all," Kate said, referring pointedly to her kids' knowledge of Jon's off-and-on significant other, Hailey Glassman.

"That's just too warped for them, too unhealthy for them to know. They're learning at this age by watching us what it's like to be an adult, and that's the last thing I want them to know. But I really just think that relationship is a situation that's just a symptom of the real issue, so…I don't envision a future there involving my kids at all."

Zing!

So while Jon talked about doing what he has to do to be friends with Kate, be a good dad and maintain his relationship with Hailey, his estranged wife was busy nipping that last part in the bud.

When they weren't busy repeating themselves for the cameras, Kate took six of the kids to an organic farm, where they petted kittens and milked cows, and everything was wholesome and lovely! Meanwhile, even raising money for firefighters, Jon just couldn't win.

Family Wants Second Autopsy for Real Housewife Kandi Burruss' Slain Fiancé

Kandi Burruss, Ashley Jewell Prince Williams/Getty Images

To get at the truth, the family of Kandi Burruss's late fiancé is looking to raise the dead.

A.J. Jewell did not have sickle-cell anemia, according to a spokesman for Jewell's relatives, who have requested that a second autopsy be performed by a private coroner to clear up any inconsistencies surrounding his death last month from a head injury sustained in a fight outside an Atlanta strip club.

Results are expected in about two weeks. The Real Housewives of Atlanta fixture was laid to rest over a month ago.

The Fulton County medical examiner ruled Jewell's death a homicide, and the other guy in the fight, Frederick Richardson, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.

But Jewell's family disagrees with the finding that sickle-cell anemia aggravated his injuries.

More from The Soup

Love can be a terrible thing to waste. Unless, of course, when it goes horribly wrong and can be repurposed into cheap yet satisfying entertainment.

And speaking of cheap yet satisfying, you won't want to miss tonight's Soup special, Love and Other Burning Sensations, as Joel "The Passion Master" McHale takes you on a guided tour through the worst (and therefore the best) moments in TV love gone wrong.

Including a taste of heartless Bachelorette host Chris Harrison, who took time away from whatever he does when The Bachelorette isn't on to shame and abuse McHale, live and in person.

Remember, you can catch more pain tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT!

Project Runway: Everybody Cries, One Designer Wins

Loading...

Every season, it all comes down to Bryant Park.

Nine months after they marched their 13-look collections down the runway at Fall Fashion Week, Althea Harper, Irena Shabayeva and Carol Hannah Whitfield stood quaking before Heidi Klum & Co., waiting to hear who would be named the winner of Project Runway's much-delayed sixth season.

Of course it looked as if time was going to run out, garments were going to go unfinished and each woman was going to float away on a river of tears (mixed with other fluids, in the virus-stricken Carol Hannah's case).

But wouldn't you know, all three ladies, competing in the second all-girl finale in a row, showed classy, polished and, for the most part, extremely wearable collections at the couture extravaganza in NYC.

And for the spoiler-avoiders among us, it seemed like anyone's game.

Top Chef: We Was Had (and That's OK!)

Top Chef, Bryan Voltaggio, Jennifer Carroll, Michael Voltaggio, Kevin Gillespie Trae Patton/BRAVO
More from Watch with Kristin

We got taken for a ride by a Top cheftestant, and we don't mind one bit.

When we told you a couple weeks back that we had reason to believe that a front-runner (Jen, Kevin, Mike V. or Bryan) went home early, that reason was because someone from our team ran into "the red-haired guy from Top Chef" (aka Kevin Gillespie) while our friend was shopping for engagement rings in downtown L.A. The chef in question told our friend, "I got kicked off before the end." Well, as you saw last night, Kevin won the final Vegas challenge and sailed safely into the finale, along with fellow obvious finalists Jen Carroll and the Volt bros.

(FYI, this encounter happened in mid-October, which we believe to be before Kevin went north to shoot the finale in Napa, so don't sue us if Kevin doesn't make it into the final three and you feel spoiled. In that case, it's just a coincidence and we're not liable, darn it!)

We warned you at the time, "It could be part of a Bravo misinformation campaign, but we trust the source, so we're passing it along to you." Well, it's looking more and more like misinformation is the case, and we have to say, "Thanks, Bravo!"

Why are we grateful to have been taken for a ride? Well...

Did Christian Siriano Just Spill the Winner of Tonight's Project Runway Finale?!

Christian Siriano ABC/ADAM LARKEY
More from Watch with Kristin

Tonight's Project Runway finale will be the show's first-ever battle of the babes...but only one bitch can be victorious.

Take it from one seriously fierce winner.

Season four champ Christian Siriano won't be watching tonight—he'll be at the taping of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show pimping his makeup line instead—but he admits he has some insider knowledge of whether Althea Harper, Irina Shabayeva or Carol Hannah Whitfield will take home season six's $100,000 prize.

"I was at the show at Fashion Week so I already know what the collections are and what they look like. But I have an inside scoop," he told us Tuesday night at the American Eagle Times Square store opening.

Get that scoop at your own risk...

One Petite Beauty Stands Tall on Top Model Finale

Loading...

Good things come in small packages.

Before the first-ever petite cycle of America's Next Top Model came to a close tonight, Southern belle Laura Kirkpatrick and the unprepossessing Nicole Fox had two more chances to prove they deserved to be on top.

First came the requisite CoverGirl commercial shoot, which left both girls fighting for their composure as the only words they could get their glossy lips around were easy, breezy and beautiful. (Both ended up with decent takes, but it was torture getting there.)

Then it was on to the runway for a Julia Clancey fashion show.

Off Laura and Nicole went, their dresses billowing, fringe flapping and faces shellacked with shimmer, as Tyra Banks, Nigel Barker, J. Alexander and Eddie Murphy(!) looked on from the audience.

The show—which also featured lucky losers Erin, Sundai and Jennifer—went smoothly and both finalists stalked the catwalk like pros, and tall pros at that!

So who was the last girl standing at the end of cycle 13?

So You Think You Can Dance Backstage Scoop: Which Solo Was "Horrid"?

So You Think You Can Dance, Top 14 Kelsey McNeal/FOX
More from Watch with Kristin

Tonight on So You Think You Can Dance we learned that while a remarkable solo can save a dancer in danger, a totally terrible solo won't necessarily get you sent home if you have already banked enough "star moments" and sex appeal in the minds of the judges.

We've got the scoop from behind the scenes at SYTYCD that reveals why a "very good" dancer went home in place of the dancer with one of the most unchoreographed and random solos in recent memory...

Top Chef Final Four Make It Through the d'Or

Loading...

Sure, Tom Colicchio's got much respect for the five who made it this far on Top Chef and it was a pleasure watching them all cook.

But only four made it out of tonight's episode alive after an especially meaty quickfire round and an elimination challenge inspired by the Olympics of culinary arts, the Bocuse d'Or.

While the fantasy foursome of Bryan and Michael Voltaggio, Kevin Gillespie and Jennifer Carroll was planted in people's minds weeks ago, you could bet that surprise contender Eli Kirshtein wasn't going to let them just whisk past him into the semifinals.

Not to mention the fact that Jen's been sliding in recent weeks, Kevin's not one for classic French technique and Brian and Michael could just as easily self-destruct by getting too fancy for their own good.

And we heard that there was an upset brewing...
