ABC is enlisting the help of a Holmes-grown talent.

Following in the stunt-casting footsteps of Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes is going back to where it all began—the small screen—guest-starring in an episode of the ABC drama Eli Stone set to air this fall, the network confirms to E! News.

Holmes will play a singing and dancing non-profit attorney and will appear in the second episode of the season.

The casting announcement had been expected since photos surfaced last night of Holmes, Tom Cruise and Suri walking around the set at Los Angeles' Union Station.

Mark your calendars, Katie Holmes' Broadway debut date has been set.

The producers of the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons announced today that Mrs. Tom Cruise & Co. will begin previews Sept. 18 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The curtain will officially go up Oct. 16, and the limited-run engagement is set to last through Jan. 11.

As previously reported, Holmes will join an all-star ensemble that includes John Lithgow, Dianne Weist and Patrick Wilson.

A source tells E! News Suri Cruise was joined by David and Victoria Beckham's brood—Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz—for the kid-superstar summit.

The tots broke for dinner at about 5 p.m. after tooling around in miniature cars, including a small-fry-size John Deere truck and Escalade.

Well, Katie has been busy preparing to make her debut on the Great White Way this fall in Arthur Miller's All My Sons. And the play's producer, Eric Falkenstein, tells the New York Post, "She and Tom are committed to keeping the family together, so they have to get an apartment here."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hosted a lavish, over-the-top housewarming last night for more than 500 guests. The couple and their daughter, Suri, recently moved into the 10,000-square-foot home with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, which they purchased last year.

The party was a who’s who of A-listers. Reese Witherspoon showed up holding hands with boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. Kimora Lee Simmons, wearing a red cocktail dress, arrived with Djimon Hounsou. Eva Longoria Parker, in canary yellow cocktail dress, brought her sister as her date. Prince, Sean Combs, Kirstie Alley and Oprah Winfrey all attended the bash.

We probably won’t be able to make it to the housewarming party at the new Beverly Hills residence of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes this Saturday, but we know that somewhere, someone is grappling with a very difficult problem.

What do you get a couple that has everything?

Tradition says bread, salt or a coin, and since tradition's much cheaper than a Sub-Zero freezer, we'd suggest sticking with tradition.

Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman have something else in common.

Tom Cruise's current better half will be taking Broadway by storm this fall in a revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons, costarring Dianne Wiest, John Lithgow and Little Children hunk Patrick Wilson.

Holmes' rep told E! News in March that the 29-year-old actress was in talks to make her professional stage debut.

A place and a premiere date haven't been determined, but Simon McBurney will direct the tale of a family torn apart by the repercussions of its patriarch's black-market business dealings during World War II, based on a true story. All My Sons scored Miller a Tony Award for writing in 1947.

Kidman made her debut on the Great White Way 10 years ago, when she was still Mrs. Cruise, in The Blue Room.

We don't mean the movie kind, either: We hear they want to have another a baby.

According to friends who schmoozed with the Cruises in New York earlier this week, Katie wants to have another baby soon, and she has been hinting as much to her husband.

"She said she's got the itch," said a friend close to the pair. "Now that Suri is more toddler than baby, she said she misses having an infant in the house. And, of course, she thinks Suri would make a great big sister."
