Big Apple Braces for a Zack Attack!

Provided Slater doesn't hatch a harebrained scam to steal the lead, it looks like Preppy is heading to the Big Apple.
Zack Morris Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Weeds star Justin Kirk are teaming up to tread the boards in a limited-engagement off-Broadway production of The Understudy, opening Nov. 5.
And just in case theatergoers couldn't quite grasp the concept of the show based on title alone, the comedy will in fact revolve around the unsung also-rans of the stage.
No word yet on whether his research for the role includes getting tips from Dustin Diamond.
