Lucky for Will.i.am, the firefighters had a feeling it was a good time to evacuate.

The Black Eyed Peas frontman was one of 1,500 guests and staffers who were all ushered to safety earlier today when a fire broke out at the Park Lane Hilton in London's Mayfair neighborhood.

Around 20 firefighters responded to a report of a blaze that broke out in a second-floor kitchen. No injuries were reported, according to the Metropolitan Police.

And despite the scare, Will.i.am saw no reason to stop the party.

"Peas rockin hyde park," the artist tweeted tonight, posting a photo of himself with Fergie and Taboo at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park to show he was neither shaken nor singed by what happened.

The Peas dedicated "Where Is the Love" to the city of London as they cranked out hits for a crowd of roughly 63,000 people.

"I'm dj'n in the sky hovering over 60thousand people in hyde park," Will.i.am added later, referring to his time behind the decks deejaying a set that included lump-and-hump-shaking tunes like House of Pain's "Jump Around," Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

A rep for the festival said that Will.i.am, who efficiently used his T-shirt to shield his mouth and nose from the billowing smoke, appeared perfectly fine by the time he joined his fellow Peas onstage, according to London's Daily Mail.

The Park Lane Hilton, built in 1963 and renovated just last year, has 453 guest rooms, so kudos to the fire officials for getting everyone out unscathed.
