Spotted: Sebastian Stan getting Gossip Girl fans hopes up at the Captain America: Civil War special screening.
Before he was Bucky Barnes (aka Winter Soldier), Stan was best known as Carter Baizen, one of the bad boys of the Upper East Side on Gossip Girl. And while on the show, he became close friends with many of his castmembers, including Chace Crawford (the duo also starred in the 2006 cult-male-witch film The Covenant together #neverforget), and dated Leighton Meester during the earlier seasons.
While the CW hit ended its six-year run in 2012, GG still has a loyal following, and with revival-fever at an all-time high (Fuller House! Gilmore Girls!), we wouldn't mind seeing a Gossip Girl reunion happen—and neither would Stan.
I would do it, why not?" Stan told E! News at a screening of Captain America in New York City on Wednesday, adding he knows two of his former co-stars who would also be interested in returning to the UES.
"I got Jessica Szohr and Chace [Crawford]," he said. "I don't know what the rest are up to, but I'd be down. Why not?" Vanessa and Nate are in; paging Blair (Meester), Chuck (Ed Westwick), Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley)!
Stan continued, "It was a great experience...I will always have a soft spot in my heart for that show and everybody that was on it. It was fun. I feel like we all grew up together, so yeah, I would do it!"
